The Consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP) is a registered social welfare organization, an NGO for the protection of rights of Consumers in Pakistan. TCEP is the independent and authoritative voice for consumers in Pakistan since year 2005, building a powerful movement to help protect and empower consumers everywhere and to create consumer awareness against counterfeit, substandard, unregistered and adulterated products. TCEP’s is working to put the rights of consumers at the heart of decision-making. TCEP has been also working to promote and serve for standardization and Quality consciousness culture in Pakistan. This modern movement is essential to secure a fair safe and sustainable future for Pakistani consumers in a global marketplace increasingly dominated by international corporations. TCEP has been working with ISO member, Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) and Ministry of Science and Technology (Government Of Pakistan) and actively involved in improving quality and standards of the citizens by advocating accountability and code of conduct in government and society to promote quality and standards and the use of PSQCA quality assurance logo on the products. The Consumer Eye Pakistan (TCEP) has been working with PSQCA on a common agenda for the benefits of Pakistani consumers. TCEP is working together with its Partners and various programs have been organizing every year including seminars, workshops, training programs and Quality Standard Award ceremonies i.e. world consumer rights Day and World Standards Day. The Consumers Eye Pakistan (TCEP) has introduced an annual series of awards “Quality-Standard Award” in 2010 to appreciate for the highly valuable Products/Brands and services in Pakistan with the official collaboration of Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority Ministry of Science and technology (Government of Pakistan) also have support of Sindh Journalists Network (SJN) and Standards Gazette International. TCEP believes that better work with commitment and honesty can improve people's lives.
